A job search that argues back.

Job-search platform and personal assistant. Aggregates remote roles from several boards, scores how eligible each one is from Africa, and checks the employer against the UK Home Office register of licensed visa sponsors so a relocation application is not a guess. Adds two-way Google Calendar sync with recurrence and reminders, interview practice with streaks, and a monthly AI review of what to study next. Also ships as a Windows desktop app through a C/WebView2 shell with its own payload updater.

Where the money actually went.

Budgeting and expense API built the way a production service should be: JWT authentication, Argon-hashed credentials, Helmet and rate limiting at the edge, Zod validation on every boundary, a Prisma data layer over PostgreSQL, and a live Swagger surface generated from the routes themselves. Budgets, expenses and health checks are all documented and callable in the browser.

About

Engineer, three layers deep

I'm a software and embedded systems engineer with a B.Eng in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Covenant University. That background means I don't stop at the browser or the API — I understand systems from the user interface down to the microcontroller.

On the web side I design and build scalable backends (Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and modern React/Next.js frontends. On the AI side I build agents and automations — chatbots that handle customer service end-to-end, LLM-powered recommendation systems, and voice AI pipelines. On the hardware side I write C firmware for ESP32-class devices, design around sensors and displays, and wire devices into the cloud over MQTT and REST.

That combination is my edge: I can take a product from a schematic to a deployed web app — and put an AI agent in the middle of it.
